Mr. Arden Jeantilus served as secretary of the American Federation of Martial Arts (AFMA), founding member of Haitian Student Association at NJIT (HASAN) and co-found Building Bridges for Community Enrichment, a community driven, non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational, economic, career guidance, cultural, and mentoring support, particularly in under-served communities.

Born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he later immigrated to the US in 1988 to reunite with his parents. While Arden was completing his high school education, he was actively involved in PTA and school board meetings to address bullying and physical abuse. His high school experiences propelled him to help others by staying actively involved in community organizations.

Arden was brought up in a household where education was very important and taught to be the path to success; after graduating from high school, Arden obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. In addition to his active community involvement, he is a principal mechanical engineer/ supervisor at Comtech PST with 20+ years of experience in mechanical design, thermal and structural analyses of space and defense electronic systems. Arden has worked with reputable companies, including Honeywell (formerly Allied Signal), Nokia (formerly Lucent Technologies), TTM Inc., Comtech Telecommunication, and more.

Arden has demonstrated throughout his personal life and professional career that he is caring, passionate, a problem solver, an innovator, a team player, and an easy person to get along with. He holds three US patents in optoelectronic packaging and has co-authored article in IEEE (52nd Electronic Components and Technology Conference).
Arden enjoys playing golf and is a martial arts enthusiast. He competed in many national and international karate tournament throughout south and North America. With his wealth of professional and personal experiences, Arden hopes to share his invaluable knowledge with under-served communities through mentoring and building foundation for growth and success.
